Original Toronto Star caption: Foiled again! A hit is registered by leonard Camin under the arm of American opponent Art Plouffe during the preliminaries of the foil competition at the Masters Games. The fencers use a round robin system to select the 16 who will carry on into a knockout battle for the title. The picture at right, showing the two shaking hands after the match, has not been accidentally reversed. Fencers always shake lefthanded.
