Original Toronto Star caption: The water's fine! John Doughty, 23, of Thunder Bay, seems to be quite happy about going for a swim in frigid waters. He's the safety diver for two hard-hat divers who are working under the surface at the Canadian Underwater Training Centre on Toronto Harbor. The harbor is frozen solid, but the centre's divers have broken through the ice so they can get on with their lessons.
