The Boatmen trailed 17-7 at the half, starting quarterback Conredge Hollaway was on the sidelines, Joe Barnes came into the game and with less than three minutes on the clock, tossed the winning touchdown pass. The week before, the Argos gambled with 53 seconds to go, third and one on the four yard line, and scored against the Hamilton Ticats to reach the final.
