Original Toronto Star caption: Leading the pack was 78-year-old Eileen Munn, who always participates in the Miles for Millions walkathon. She says she always completes the course, giving inspiration to some of the less hearty walkers- many less than one-quarter her age. More than 15,000 people started the 45-kilometre (28 miles) walk. Police Staff Sgt. George Hamilton, who is in charge of about 200 policemen along the route, said the march was quiet, unlike the headaches experienced last year.
