Belosheikin beaten

Original Toronto Star caption: Belosheikin beaten: You don't see him here, but Jari Kurri provided Team NHL with a 1-0 lead on the Soviet nationals last night at Quebec city. His shot, set up by Wayne Gretzky, caught the inside of the far post behind goaltender Evgeny Belosheikin. Just to make certain there was no doubt the puck would go in, Esa Tikkanen (15) sneaked in behind Belosheikin and Soviet defenceman Sergei Starikov. Team NHL went on to defeat the Soviets, 4-3.
