Original Toronto Star caption: Famed great war pilots meet in Edmonton. Two fighter pilots of the last war met again recently in Edmonton. LEFT is Capt. W. R. Wop May, O.B.E., D.F.C., general manager of No. 2 A.O.S., at Edmonton. With him is Sqdn.-Ldr , F. R. G. McCall, D. S. O., M.C. and Bar. McCall, who was the fourth ranking Canadian ace, with 37 planes to his credit, was saved from a German plane in 1918 when May drove it off his tail. May himself gained fame when the late Capt. Roy Brown drove a plane off his tail and shot it down in 1917. The downed German was none other than Baron von Richtofen, top German ace. May is holding an operational training picture from the last war.
