Against a rain-gray backdrop of Toronto's downtown skyline, Canadian communications specialist Marshall McLuhan (left) is interviewed in Nathan Phillips Square by commentator Barbara Walters and Hugh Downs, host of the Today TV show. It was last of two Metro telecasts among five Today shows originated in Canada.
