Original Toronto Star caption: COOLING CRYSTAL BEACH was another much sought-after haven from the heat. Roads leading to it and other Ontario beaches were solidly packed with cars all through the day as more than 100,000 vehicles moved in and out of Toronto. Burns and tans were much in evidence today after exposures to hot sun which blazed without let-up all Sunday.
