Original Toronto Star caption: Admiring hands reached out toward Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau, trying to shake his hand today as enthusiastic crowd of more than 5,000 jammed Etobicoke's Crang Plaza where he attended a Liberal rally. Surging in tightly around him, onlookers literally swept him off his feet, and he was carried along on a wave of people for more than 10 paces without his feet touching the ground. During visit Trudeau toured three ridings.
