Original Toronto Star caption: The steering committee of the Etobicoke clergy got a preview of the new Etobicoke Olympium with general manager Mike Kelly (left) pointing out some features of double gymnasium. It will accommodate 2,500 spectators for sports events, or 4,000 for a stage presentation. The clergy steering committee was organized last year to help plan events for the borough's centenary and held a meeting in the Olympium to discuss plans for special events in 1976.
