John Graves Simcoe have supplied priceless historical antiques for display in a museum opened recently by the Etobicoke Historical society. The museum is on the ground floor of the old F. T. James home which is now owned by the Metro parks department. Among the treasures is the deed to the first grant of land in Etobicoke which was then called Mimico. It was issued in 1798 to Patrick Mealey, a member of the Queen's Rangers.
