Original Toronto Star caption: Alderman Mrs. Carol Ruddell shakes hands with Mickey today after she got the 18-month-old black and white border collie off on a charge of being vicious and running at large. The Scarborough alderman went to court with Leslie McLaughlin, 13, of Willingdon Ave., to fight the charge, laid, Leslie said, after he had let Mickey off leash recently and the dog playfully nabbed the little girl on the leg.
