Original Toronto Star caption: Pleasant change: For years, hockey player Gary Sabourin and other NHLers missed being at home with their families at Christmas. But thanks to Alan Eagleson and National Hockey League Players' Association, this year the players are enjoying the festive season with no games scheduled from Dec. 22 to 26. Yesterday, the Leaf winger celebrated Christmas with his family. Opening presents (left to right) are Gary with 3-year-old son Kevin while daughter Susan, 5 years of age, is obviously excited. At the right is Sabourin's wife, Nancy.

Their class project this winter is to go out into the community and try to persuade people who never thought they could attend university that they possibly could.
