Original Toronto Star caption: Borje's big night: NHL vice-president Scotty Morrison, right, presented the Leafs' Borje Salming with the league's 1,000-game milestone award - being admired by his wife. Margitta, and his two children, Anders and Teresa - prior to last night's game at the Gardens. Harold Ballard flew Salming's family and former Leaf Inge Hammarstrom over from Sweden for the occasion.
