Troy Noseworthy, 7-year-old forward who plays with Humberview's minor atom (9-year-old) team in North York Hockey League, shows Maple Leaf's Borje Salming trophy he received from Sports Illustrated magazine as one of youngest athletes ever to make its Faces in the Crowd. Noseworthy, playing hockey since he was 4, started this season at age 6, now has 24 goals and 18 assists in 33 games. Magazine learned of him after he was featured in Star story.

In its second year, the blind skaters program run by North York's parks and recreation department is brainchild of Andra Kelly, wife of Toronto Maple Leafs coach Red Kelly, and Nancy Cameron of department. Here, Mrs. Kelly assists Dennis Donnelly at Victoria Village Arena. There are 10 people in program, ranging in age from 7 to 62, and they come from all parts of Metro. They need more volunteers.
