Original Toronto Star caption: ''Shawanaga reserve Indians are seen here busily engaged in picking the tiny fruit, 25 miles north of Parry Sound on Georgian Bay. Bushes grow almost anywhere there are rocks and sandy soil. In Ontario, blueberries grow in little clusters on bushes six inches high and up. They cannot be domesticated here and grow best when wild. Blueberries are often mistaken for huckleberries, but they are more closely related to the cranberry family.''
