Sweeny, James Fielding, 1857-1940 (in centre of front row)

Sweeny was consecrated (at St. James') and enthroned (at St. Alban's) Bishop of Toronto 25 March 1909. He became archbishop and metropolitan of Ontario in 1932 and resigned the same year.  The photograph was perhaps taken at the enthronement at St. Alban's. Canon A.J.
