Transport of the future, an air-cushioned vehicle for use on rough terrain, is being developed at the U of T Institute for Space Studies. Dr. Rod Tennyson explains how it works to Henry McKay.The vehicle would be particularly useful in the far North. The institute thinks air curtains might serve as covers for buildings one day instead of roofs.
