A letter to the Right Hon. Earl Grey, Her Majesty's principal secretary of state for the colonies, in which the political events of the last three years are briefly reviewed and remedial measures suggested and in which also the imperial government is urged to repeal all differential duties, to throw open the navigation of the St. Lawrence, and to give up its controul(!) over the Canadian Post office department.
