Webster 4836 gives the printer (''Stone Limited Toronto Litho. Co.''), publisher (''Globe. Printing Co.''), title and date. The JRR Catalogue states that the print was made for The Globe, Toronto, Christmas Number, 1910. The scene is Navy Hall, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, looking out across the Niagara River. The portrait of Simcoe is probably ultimately after the miniature attributed to William Berczy, c. 1795, reproduced in John Andre, William Berczy, 1967, opp. p. 164. The proclamation shown on the wall is dated 1793.||Inscribed in the print, l.l.: J.D. Kelly||
