One man was killed and another seriously injured when a tank they were working on exploded. The dead man, whose name has not been released, was thrown 30 feet by the force of the blast. The other is in critical condition in Scarborough General Hospital. McAsphalt Industries, located on the northwest corner of Rouge River Drive and Sheppard Avenue East.
