Original Toronto Star caption: Man injured in fire at upholstery factory. A firefighter uses an axe to cut through the roof of Bilt-Rite Upholstery on Dennison Rd. E.; in York; during a fire yesterday which was started by a blown light bulb. Employee Nelson Medeiros; 28; was overcome by smoke and taken to hospital; where he was treated and released. A spokesman for the first said Medeiros had returned to open windows so smoke wouldn't damage furniture.
