Original Toronto Star caption: Army help: Soldiers from nearby Canadian Forces Base Petawawa arrive to assist firemen fighting fires caused by the derailment of a GP Rail freight train in Petawawa yesterday. About 500 residents of the town were forced to leave their homes when threatened by poisonous fumes from derailed tank cars (right). There were 26 boxcar and tanker units off the tracks.
