Original Toronto Star caption: Weaving a network of power. Workmen appear to be weaving a network of steel reinforcing rods as Ontario Hydro expands its nuclear power-generating plant of Pickering. Hydro officials say that when it is finished - it is scheduled for completion in 1983-the $1.75 billion project will double plant's output. Work has been under way for about 18 months. The plant has four main generators; it has been plagued with minor breakdowns.
