Original Toronto Star caption: Whether the visitors were watching the action (like the people at left) or huddling in a conference, the $1 million auction of used construction equipment at Wilson's Auctioneer's site in Milton produced bargains for some, disappointment for other. Strong demand for used machinery, helped by shortages of new and second hand equipment, produced intense bidding and higher prices than expected. More than 1,000 turned out from as far as Germany, S. America.
