Original Toronto Star caption: Closer to home: When it was developed, Oshawa Municipal Airport was a good distance from residential development, but the city has grown around it in recent years. Thirteen airplane accidents occurred at or around the airfield between July, 1981, and December, 1986. Alderman Irv Harrell says that it's only a matter of time before there's a major disaster at the airport.
