Original Toronto Star caption: Plunk! end of the race. This balloon; one of 10 entered in the Great Export A Balloon Race which left from High Park today; landed within 500 yards of the target area. It just missed a dunking in Toronto Harbor and landed safely on Pier 35 after hitting a warehouse building. Nearby dock workers helped pilot Malcolm Forbes of Kimberlane; N.J. set his balloon on pier. Second part of race leaves Sunday from Wilkett Creek Park; North York.
