Passengers are picked up by car at the York St. entrance of the Royal York Hotel and driven to a grass lot near the waterfront within two minutes. There; the Pegasus Air Lifts' four-passenger Jet Ranger helicopter is waiting; its engine idling. The flight to the airport is made at about 120 miles an hour; with no delays for stoplights or traffic jams. Passengers are landed on a taxi strip 100 yards from the terminal six minutes later. Trip costs $20 for two.
