Original Toronto Star caption: The flying carpet makes its first flight. This pancake-shaped plane designed by Cheston Eshelman in business suit at right of Propeller; can do 190 miles and is the coming thing according to its designer. Eshelman landed in the Atlantic in 1939 on what he said was a flight to Mars.
