Original Toronto Star caption: Not exactly priority post. This replica of an Upper Canada Mud Coach rolled into town yesterday; recreating the Toronto-Ottawa mail run from 1835 to 1845. Driving the team is Merv Plaunt; while Keith Salter; of Smiths Falls; who built the coach; rides shotgun and Veronica Mahon waves to passing cars from inside. The journey is part of Ontario's bicentennial celebrations.
