NotesOriginal Toronto Star caption: Nose to beak: John Lenard and a bald eagle take a close look at one another during one of the Metro Zoo's shows; which feature birds of prey. Some of the birds used in the show have been injured elsewhere and are helped in their recovery; the zoo's Bill Rapley says. Other species participating include falcons; a marsh hawk and a sharp-skinned hawk. They are taught to obey the sound of the handlers' whistle.
