Original Toronto Star caption: Thirty-five babies are enough to keep any foster parent on the move - and this procession of goose and goslings yesterday in Ashbridge's Bay couldn't be accused of lolly-gagging. Toby Styles of the Metro Toronto Zoo says geese; which lay a clutch of 3 to 12 eggs; do communal parenting. An adult may watch over a group for a few hours before turning the task over to another adult. Toward evening; the goslings return to their own parents.
