Original Toronto Star caption: 80 Acres of Glistening Clay lie below workmen repairing the sluice gates on the Kelso Conservation Area dam. It took two weeks to drain about 500 million gallons of water and empty Glen Eden Lake. Lake was created when dam was built 13 years ago. In about two weeks; gates of Hilton Falls Dam; high in the niagara escarpment; will be opened to fill lake to its normal level for winter.
