Original Toronto Star caption: 800 didn't come to P.M.'s breakfast; A monster breakfast rally marking the Toronto wind-up of Prime Minister Diefenbaker's election campaign turned out to be far from successful at the Royal York this Morning. With places set for about 1;000; few more than 200 Progressive Conservative supporters were on hand when the scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast began at 7.30 a.m. When Mr. Diefenbaker entered and noticed the hundreds of empty seats; he commented: Anybody that gets up at this time of the morning must be real enthusiastic.
