Original Toronto Star caption: In the light horse-drawing compeition yesterday at the Uxbridge Fall Fair; Doug Coad of Woodville reins his team back to be hitched to the stoneboat. The winning team pulled 8;700 pounds. Gary Herrema; the judge of the event; says such competitions are becoming rare in southern Ontario because most horse used in logging operations now work in the North. Almost 7;000 persons attended the weekend fair.
