Original Toronto Star caption: World's highest wooden flagpole. It took four railway flatcars to move this 184-foot Douglas fir log from British Columbia to Toronto where it will be transformed into the world's tallest wooden flagpole.The $15;000 tree will be erected near the Exhibition Place bandshell.
