Original Toronto Star caption: Concentrating intensely on their boards; a group of youngsters compete in the Toronto public school chess finals at Bloor Collegiate on Saturday. More than 100 finalists played in the seven classifications; and Grade 4 student Martin Zver; of Montrose Public School; was the only player to win all his game in the match. Montrose school won trophy as the top-scoring junior school.
