Original Toronto Star caption: Tasting the Sweetness of Spring; The sap is beginning to run in maple trees; so Keith Horton began taping Saturday on his tree farm near Stouffville and explaining this spring wonder to school children. Fifty pupils from Bolton were among the first to spend the morning there; riding in a wagon pulled by tractor; visiting old building like the sugar shack; seeing trees tapped and finally watching the sap boiled down to syrup; which they got to taste. When it warms up; the sap will flow faster.
