Original Toronto Star caption: A new version of an old tractor; Byron Hamilton; a semi-retired auto mechanic; spent almost 2;000 working hours this past winter at his Uxbridge home building this quarterscale; 18-horsepower Waterloo-type steam tractor. He has still to add water tanks and a platform behind the rear drive wheels. Hamilton says he hopes to enter it in downtown Uxbridge parade in June. The neighboring children are already putting in their bids for a free ride on it.
