Original Toronto Star caption: King of the parade: Ricky Evans; 12; gained the right to lead today's gigantic Santa Claus Parade after he won an Eaton's contest for the best float to mark the firm's 100th anniversary. He's shown here on the dog sled that forms part of the float outlining Canada's growth over the past century. His mother; who works for Eaton's says he wanted to be in a parade; but never thought of leading one.
