Original Toronto Star caption: Not even this pipe band on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange yesterday was enough to stop business as usual-although the brisk trading pace did slow during the seven-minute visit. Pipe Major David Duncan (foreground) and the Bucksburn and District Pipe Band of Aberdeenshire; Scotland; marched and piped their way around the trading floor. Traders chipped in to buy the pipers refreshment at a nearby bar. The exchange had its best one-day advance in two weeks; with 19 indices gaining. There were cheers for visitors; and ticker tape flashed welcome.
