Elements of morality, for the use of children : with an introductory address to parents, volume 2

Translated from the German of the Rev. C.G. Salzmann ; illustrated with fifty copper plates ; in three volumes.

Sixteen of the fifty-one plates are attributed to William Blake, who engraved them after the German originals by Chodowieki.

The first English edition was published in two volumes in 1790. It was translated by Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin from Das Moralisches Elementarbuch, which was published in Leipzig in 1785.
