Doyle containing Lord Douglas' rude remarks about Doyle's sprititualism, begin with words "Sir, what a disgusting beast you are..." ; an envelope addressed by Lord Douglas to "Arthur Conan Doyle, Esq. Windlesham, Crowborough" ; A.C. Doyle's response (1 sheet) to Lord A. Douglas, dated 1919 December 17, begins "Sir, I was relieved to get your letter...", signed ; a small tag identifying items written by Jean Conan Doyle "A splendid answer from my darling to that rat Alfred Douglas".
