A photograph of sixteen men posing for a photograph in front of the entranceway to a large stone or brick building. There is a double doorway behind the group, all of whom are wearing military hats and uniforms. The people in the front row are sitting in chairs at the bottom of a set of stairs, and the people in the three rows above them are all standing on the stairs. All but one of the people in the front row are holding batons with tassels attached to the top.
