In this fascinating adventure, first published in Lippincott's Monthly Magazine in 1890, Sherlock Holmes tracks down a mysterious Indian treasure, and Dr. Watson finds romance. It is the second of four novella-length works featuring the world's first consulting detective, and offers much insight into Holmes's investigative methods, as well as some shocking revelations about his personal life.
