Bronze medal.(obverse) Busts crowned and draped of Richard I 1180 and Victoria 1889, facing towards each other in two open circular frames; a vignette of seven interlaced circles, above, and one of St.George and Dragon, below. Inscribed "TO COMMEMORATE THE 700TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MAYORALTY OF THE CITY OF LONDON. MDCCCLXXXIX".

Busts crowned and draped of Richard I 1180 and Victoria 1889, facing towards each other in two open circular frames; a vignette of seven interlaced circles, above, and one of St.George and Dragon, below. Inscribed "TO COMMEMORATE THE 700TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MAYORALTY OF THE CITY OF LONDON. MDCCCLXXXIX".
(reverse) Londinia seated, right, receives symbols of Mayoralty from St.Michael standing before her; above radiate crown. Beyond St.Paul's and the Tower. Inscribed, "THE POWERS THAT BE ARE ORDAINED OF GOD". Ex. 1189-1889.
