Original Toronto Star caption: The Possum Hunters in 1925, when they became the first group of country musicians to appear on the radio show out of Nashville, Tenn., that was destined to be known a the Grand Ole Opry. The show's 50th anniversary celebration will be broadcast tonight by same station, WSMm from the Opry's new $13 million hall.
