Warm welcome: Italian President Francesco Cossiga wades into crowds of well-wishes who mobbed him as he strolled along St. Clair Ave. W. yesterday, shaking hands and pinching children's cheeks. People who lines the sidewalks in the wind and drizzling rain waved Italian and Canadian flags and shouted greetings in both languages as they gave him a warm welcome to Metro.
