Some began lining up as early as 6.30 a.m. to get their pick of the cards; wrappings and ornaments. At one men's wear store; about 300 customers stormed the doors at opening time; looking for bargains in $3 shirts and $30 leather coats. Many stores refused to handle exchanges and refunds today; so staff could serve bargain-hunting shoppers. It's exciting; said shopper Kaz Burke.
