Original Toronto Star caption: Getting started on next Christmas; Christmas cards and Christmas wrappings were on sale at half price today in the department stores and forward-looking customers crowded in to take advantage of the Boxing Day price. Other departments were less busy this morning; despite advertised reductions on all kinds of merchandise. Some stores had expected to be so busy they had run advertisements saying there would be no exchanges on Boxing Day.
